Pearl Grading & Types

1. Pearl Grading

Each pearl is a natural wonder — no two are ever exactly alike.
To help you understand their value, pearls are graded based on five key factors:

 Luster

The most important quality of a pearl. Luster describes how brightly a pearl reflects light — high-luster pearls have a sharp, mirror-like glow.

 Surface Quality

Refers to the smoothness and cleanliness of a pearl’s surface. The fewer the blemishes or spots, the higher the grade.

 Shape

Perfectly round pearls are the rarest and most valuable, but baroque (irregular) shapes have their own unique, organic charm.

 Size

Larger pearls take longer to grow and are generally more valuable.
Our pearls range from delicate 6mm gems to statement 12mm+ treasures.

 Color & Overtone

Pearls come in a wide range of natural hues — from classic white and rose to lavender and gold. The overtone adds depth and iridescence to their color.

2. Pearl Types

We specialize in a wide variety of pearls, each with its own origin and character:

✨ Freshwater Pearls

Cultivated in lakes and rivers, these pearls are known for their soft glow, pastel colors, and diverse shapes. They’re perfect for modern, everyday elegance.

✨ Akoya Pearls

Famed for their round shape and mirror-like shine, Akoya pearls are the epitome of classic beauty. Often used in timeless necklaces and stud earrings.

✨ South Sea Pearls

Grown in warm Australian and Indonesian waters, these pearls are the largest and most luxurious — often in shades of white, silver, or golden champagne.

✨ Tahitian Pearls

Cultivated in French Polynesia, Tahitian pearls captivate with their natural dark tones — from deep green to peacock and graphite black.
